Our Tribute Garden is a special place where you can create a lasting tribute for your loved one to celebrate their life. The tribute allows friends and family of that person to commemorate their memory and the impact they made in a very personal way and all donations received in memory will go directly towards the care of our patients and their families.

Michael Hughes

1959 - 2013

I have set up this tribute fund in memory of Michael, my "man in a million" who was sadly taken from us on 15th February 2013. My dear husband Michael was an amazing man.
Truly inspirational lady. Mum, mummy, grandma, G.G., Irene Victoria Maud Barton born July 1914 in North London. She always joked that she was the cause of the outbreak of the 1st world war. The only child of our dear grandma Lily Francome mum had an eventful childhood with frequent house moves and a 2 year stay in India which she loved.

Charlie Minchin

1958 - 2009

A page were you can remember and donate money in memory of someone who gave to so many Here you can remember Charlie, Charles, Dandad to the grandchildren as he didn't like grandad and cool Charlie to the nieces and nephews as he didn't like uncle, his little play on words.
Peter Rosedale is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family.
In memory of Brenda who spent her last 2 weeks at St Elizabeth Hospice, she was treated with such care and tenderness. Brenda was born on the 13th August 1943 in Bradfied Essex. Brenda was sister to Terry, and half sister to George, Sam and Pauline. Wife to Michael, beloved mum to Jackie and Rachel, adored nan to Zara, Leah, Finlay and Mia.
Mad and zany, lovely and outrageous, very keen dog owner! My mother died from pancreatic cancer at St Elizabeth in January 2005. She was definitely someone who lived life to the full, and was a devoted parent and grandparent, though even we might have come second to her gorgeous dogs - Joss, Sasha, Gilbert and Daisy Dawg!
After a year-long battle with cancer, Ann passed away peacefully at St Elizabeth Hospice on 7th January 2013 with her loved ones at her side. Ann was a truly special person who will be greatly missed by Bob, Matt and all her family, friends, colleagues and the community in which she lived in and loved..

Rosemary Powell

1945 - 2012

Our mum was a very special person who would always help others and always donated to numerus animal charitys. We know she loved us all children, grandchildren and great granchildren,she is missed so much by us all but we are all so proud of her strenght at how she coped with her illness i hope that i would be as strong.

Carol Mills (Carol)

1962 - 2002

Carol died at St Elizabeth on 7th December 2002 after a three and a half year fight with breast cancer. She is still greatly missed by her family and friends. Born in 1962 Carol was the only daughter of Pam and Harry and older sister to Michael. In 1981 she married Andrew and lived initially in Chelmsford and later in Brantham.
Beloved sister, mother and grandmother. Both born and raised in Chester, SC, USA in a Christian home by two wonderful, loving parents who were so proud of Julanne.
After a long battle with cancer, Sue Noakes passed away peacefully at St Elizabeth Hospice, Ipswich, on November 15, 2012. A very special lady who will be greatly missed by Mick and all her family, colleagues and friends.
After a 3 year battle Sharon sadly lost her battle with cancer and passed away peacefully at St Elizabeth hospice. To know her was to love her xx Sharon is missed greatly by all the family but especially by her 3 daughters, Rachael, Megan and Aimee.
Susan died at her new home in Felixstowe on 27 October 2012 and is sorely missed by all her family and friends. During her last weeks when she stayed in Woodbridge and then at Harvest House in Felixstowe, Susan received wonderful care from the MacMillan nurses of St. Elizabeth Hospice.
Julie was a much loved wife and mother as well as being an incredibly kind and caring friend. She will be missed by so many, but has left us all with many many happy memories. As many will know, Julie loved to be outside, and was never happier than when she was in the garden enjoying the fresh air.

Roger Llewellyn

1941 - 2012

Roger was born and lived most his life in Weston Super Mare, in 2006 he moved with his wife, Janet, to Ipswich to be near his son and newly born grandson. He was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in 2011 and his family were very grateful that he spent the last few days of his life in relative peace at the hospice.
Christine Miller was a much loved wife, mother, sister and friend to many. She was a wonderful woman who was compassionate, caring and loving. She was fortunate to spend the last few weeks of her life at St Elisabeth's Hospice. Christine was incredibly grateful for the wonderful care she received at Saint Elizabeth's Hospice.
Anne Elizabeth Burrows (Nee Preston) was a very loving wife to Husband, Peter, and mother to her daughter, Katie (10 at the time of her passing) I feel so priviledged and honoured that Anne chose me to share her life with, and through our love for each other we created a beautiful daughter; Katie, who she was and is so proud of.

Rick Powling

1951 - 2012

Rick was born on 8th September 1951. He grew up in Suffolk before moving to Hampshire after joining the Royal Navy. He moved back to Suffolk 6 years ago to live his dream of running a pub which he and Jennie did successfully. Rick passed away peacefully on 11th July 2012 after a short illness.

Caleta Thomas (Leta)

1932 - 2012

Caleta Thomas died on 2 January 2012 after a very brave battle with lung cancer. She went suddenly and never got to stay in the Hospice. But it was a great comfort during her illness to know that there was a beautiful and caring place to spend her final days if she needed to.

Royce Fosdike

1986 - 2012

This fund has been created in memory of Royce Fosdike. Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for St Elizabeth Hospice as a thank you for caring so well for our loved Son and Brother.

Kenneth Drewery (Ken)

1938 - 2012

Kenneth drewery ,known as Ken Husband to Doreen,Dad to Michaela Nigel & Colin He was a true inspiration to everyone who knew him,he is solely missed and in our thoughts every day Dad died april 17th 2012 of bone cancer after fighting prostate cancer for four and half years
Pat Taplin - a truly amazing woman, whose life touched so many others: as wife, mother and grandmother; as friend, teacher and mentor; as actress, director and producer. She lived for her family, friends - and the theatre. Patrica Mary Taplin: 10th August, 1928 - 30th April, 2012.
My mum was so strong and a true inspiration to everyone who knew her, she is sorely missed and in our thoughts every day. Mum died in January of a brain tumor. She was such a strong person and always did what she could for everyone around her.

Kevin Snashall

1963 - 2005

Kevin Snashall was a warm, gentle, fun loving person who was loved by everyone who knew him. St Elizabeth Hospice took great care of him in the last few days of his life and therefore this fund has been set up to remember a great man and at the same time support a great cause. Kevin loved every minute of his short life and had many interests.
