Our Tribute Garden is a special place where you can create a lasting tribute for your loved one to celebrate their life. The tribute allows friends and family of that person to commemorate their memory and the impact they made in a very personal way and all donations received in memory will go directly towards the care of our patients and their families.

Stuart Hague

1935 - 2012

Stuart died on 12th March 2012 from Motor Neurone Disease. He was the gentlest and kindest of men and I was fortunate to share his life for 30 years. Although this is a terrible illness, he met all its challenges with patience and good humour.
This fund has been set up in the memory of Sylvia, who won her courageous battle to cancer in March 2012 and is finally resting in peace. This fund is all about giving something back to the hospice who did so much for Sylvia in the final year of her life and were always available to offer advice or a smile for her family.
In memory of our mother Jean Pryke. Mum lived her life with compassion, respect, and dignity, her christian faith was important to her throughout her life. She was happy and devoted to her family and is sadly missed by us all. Mum spent her last days being cared for by the wonderful caring staff at St Elizabeths Hospice. .
Cathy was a kind, thoughtful and beautiful person who inspired everyone who knew her. At the age of 23 Cathy's life was cut short by a horrible disease but somehow, during her illness Cathy managed to face up to her situation, never complaining or asking 'why me?'. Cathy was a precious gift to all who knew her and she will always be in our hearts.

Dominic White (Dom)

1992 - 2012

Dominic sadly passed away on the 5th January 2012 at the age of 19 after nearly four years of battling cancer. With the help and support of your dedicated hospice at home team we were able to care for Dominic at home with his family right to the end.
This is to remember Stacey King (nee Thackeray) Stacey and her family found the hospice a great help in difficult times, Stacey felt that raising funds for the hospice was very important, that is why this has been set up
This is Tribute Fund is set up in memory of Pat Barr, a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to so many people through her life. There are so many words to describe Pat it is hard to know where to start. Pat had so many interests in her life, filled with happiness, love and adventure.
This fund has been set up in the memory of Lorraine, who lost her courageous battle to cancer in October 2011. A fantastic wife, mother, daughter & sister - she is missed every single day. This fund is the opportunity to give something back to the hospice who did so much for our family. .
Jo was a very kind and caring person and amazing mother, she was strong, funny and even a little stubborn at times! Jo had a zest for life, she enjoyed working with children and loved her work at the school. She leaves behind 3 beautiful children, whom she loved deeply.

Philip Driver (Phil)

1952 - 2011

A tribute fund in memory of my husband Philip Driver My muched loved husband Philip,whos life was cut so very short.Was loved, respected and admired by so many.Throughtout his life from his school friends,to his work colleges,to the cricket boys an the scooter boys,to his famliy and friends,everybody loved Phil.
Nick was the kindest and most gentlest man that ever walked this earth. He was loved by all his family and many friends. He was a big hearted man who always put others before himself. Nick never complained about his illness, he just got on with it. Nick was the kindest and most gentlest man that ever walked this earth.
Memories are very special and may this be a lasting one to a much loved Mum and Dad who were never meant to be apart for long. May u both be singing in a heavenly choir. Dad died suddenly June 2010 from a heart attack. This year Mum had a week at St Elizabeth Hospice where she smiled again and laughed with Ray during music therapy.
Patricia was a wonderful wife, mother, grand-mother, sister and friend. She died earlier this year and is greatly missed by all who knew her. We have set up this fund to raise money for the St Elizabeth Hospice in recognition of the excellent care Patricia received whilst she was there.

Richard Crisp

1956 - 2010

Richard Crisp was fatally injured in a road traffic accident on the 23rd December 2010. Employed as Sales Director at Celotex for some 6 years, this tragic loss touched colleagues, friends, customers and competitors alike throughout the insulation industry.
In Loving Memory of our Mum Maureen who we lost after a short illness and who we miss dearly. Maureen was born to Charles and Toni Francis on 9 April 1943. The sister of Malcolm and Christopher and who also helped in the upbringing of Sandra.
"A gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit and a golden thread to the meaning of life." Denise was an inspiration to many whose lives she touched. A solid heart of gold, she had time for anyone in need, be it human or animal. She fought against her illness with admirable courage, dignity and humour.

Leslie Page (Les)

1954 - 2010

Les was sadly taken from us last year by a cancerous brain tumour. He was aloving husband, father, brother and son Les used to work for Parcelforce. He enjoyed life to the full. His favourite past time was fishing. He also liked to drink beer and socialise with his family & friends.

Tony Rendell

1944 - 2011

We have set this fund up in memory of Dad, its the family's wish to keep fundraising for the hospice in Dad's memory, and to see how much money we can raise over time ! We have been overwhelmed by the donations already received, and would like to thank everyone for their generousity !!! I can honestly say Dad would have been blown away !

David Stone

1944 - 2011

David Stone - Husband, Dad, Grandad and Brother. At peace after battling cancer for 4 years. We miss you every day and wish you could still be with us, but without all the pain. We are setting up this tribute fund in memory of Dad because the Hospice was such a wonderful place and looked after Dad when he was poorly.
Melissa was a truly inspirational person. Beautiful smile, Fantastic hats and a Wicked laugh.... You touched so many people in such a short time, you always saw the good in everyone... we are all better for knowing you... Thank you... I'm sure you will be keeping an eye on all....
Elizabeth 'Betty' Simmonds was a wonderful mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother. A kind hearted person who raised many thousands of pounds for charity by her handicrafts. Betty was fun to be with and had a great sense of humour. She will be sadly missed.
